Wind Application Engineer

Your task:

For the development of our wind turbine control system you

• Engineer and clarify software requirements together with other development departments, sales and service
• Drive concepts and designs of wind power (turbine and farm level) applications together with internal stakeholders and system partners
• Specify and review software design specifications
• Manage application implementation with internal and external developers
• Administer and enhance the overall application architecture
• Plan and conduct software and function tests

Candidate profile:

• Masters degree in Engineering(Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics) or Physics
• 2+ years of experience working in software development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading detailed technical conversations and presenting to large audiences
• Required experience in agile software development
• Required experience in development of reliable systems
• Fluent in English language
• Preferably fluent in German language
